I am a researcher, journalist, and author of Urban Sociology, Public Space, and Urban History. Lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law and the Postgraduate Program at State Universitas Negeri Makassar. His last education was in the Social Sciences Doctoral Program, especially Sociology of Urban Space at the Universitas Hasanuddin Postgraduate School.
In the last few years since I completed my doctoral studies, I have written many articles about urban space, urban society and public space in national and international journals. Editor of the book "Cities in Historical Trajectory: Their Growth and Development (2007). In late October and early November 2017, I visited and observed reclaimed public spaces, city parks, port cities, and city tourism in Hong Kong and Macau, China.
Writing books both as single works and book chapters, such as: "Discovering Makassar in the Alley of Time (2009)", "Feeling the Universe of Hong Kong (2020)"; “Urban Sociology (2023)”, Sociology of Virtual Space (2023)’, “Sociology of Urban Public Space (2023)” and “Sociologizing Urban Space (2024)”.
